Emergency Response

OCSE is available to assist in an emergency.  Outside of our office hours, please contact Campus Safety at +1.518.580.5566. In the event of an emergency, Campus Safety has contact information for OCSE staff.

你 should always know whom to contact in case of an emergency, medical or otherwise. 你r first point of contact should be the resident director of your program. 请 keep the emergency contact phone number for your program on you at all times.  你 should program this number, as well as local emergency services numbers into your cell phone. If you are living with a host family, they will be an important resource for you as well.

In addition to your on-site support system, the Department of State here in the United States offers important information in case of a global emergency. 你 can visit the “Get Help In An Emergency” webpage. However, it is important to understand what the U.S. Department of State can and cannot do in providing assistance.
